Katharina Pichler

Katharina Pichler, born 1972 in Vienna, trained at Krauss Acting School in Vienna. Engagements at the Schauspielhaus Graz, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Schauspielhaus in Cologne followed. She was also part of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt and, most recently, at the Munich Residenztheater. In addition to her stage work, she is regularly involved in film and TV productions, e.g. in Verfolgt (Hounded), which was awarded the Golden Leopard at the 59th Locarno International Film Festival in 2006. Katharina Pichler joined the Burgtheater ensemble in Vienna in 2019/20.
